We're located in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Less busy than the Yorkshire Dales yet every bit as gorgeous.
Brimham Rocks with its fantastic views and bizarre rock formations, scattered over 50 acres. Also visit the market town of Pateley Bridge with its traditional high street and peaceful riverside walks.

The ancient ruins of Bolton Abbey are close by with wonderful walks on the Bolton Abbey Estate along and around the River Wharf.

The spa town of Harrogate is only 6 miles away. Famous for Betty's Tearooms, Valley Gardens & Royal Baths. Ablaze with flowers at all times of the year. It's a great place for shopping, art galleries and independent cafés.

York is famous for York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, Clifford's Tower, and the National Railway Museum. York Racecourse holds events throughout the year.
Ripon
Nearby Ripon is well worth a visit for its magnificent cathedral and historic city centre.
Close to Ripon is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Park & Newby Hall and Gardens.
Leeds
Leeds is the nearest big city and is a great shopping experience, with shops including John Lewis and Harvey Nichols. Harewood House and Estate are also well worth a visit.
With its fantastic shopping, restaurants, cafés and Royal Baths, the spa town of Harrogate is a great place to visit.
We're located in the Nidderdale AONB and the Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away. Fantastic scenery - great for walking and cycling.
Historic York with its medieval city walls, minster and Clifford’s Tower, is definitely worth a day visit. Travel by car or train from Harrogate.
